How we make money

CardRateCheck is free to use and independently run (see about us). It's paid for by some of the card payment providers we list, in two ways:

• Per sign-up or per reader ordered: a one-off payment when someone orders a reader through our link.
• Per activated business: a payment once a business we referred starts taking payments.

Links that can earn us money go through an address starting /go/ and are marked as sponsored. Pages with such links say so above the first one.

Current arrangements

We don't yet have commercial arrangements with any provider. This page will list them as they start.

Our rules

• Rankings follow the published method in how we calculate: cost for your inputs, lowest first. Commission plays no part.
• Providers that don't pay us are still shown wherever they'd appear on cost.
• You pay the same price whether or not you use our links.
• We don't collect your details, so there's nothing to pass on. The calculators run in your browser.
