Editorial and corrections policy

How pages are written

Every page is written or reviewed by Oliver Burton (more about who runs the site). Facts about providers come from the provider's own published pricing and terms; facts about law and regulation come from official sources such as legislation.gov.uk and gov.uk, which we link to. We don't publish statistics we can't source, and we don't publish reviews or testimonials we haven't verified.

Keeping figures current

Each price carries the date it was checked. Pages that give money figures show a "last reviewed" date and are reviewed at least every 90 days, or sooner when a provider changes its prices.

Independence

Commercial relationships don't influence what we write or how we rank. See how we make money.

Corrections

If you find an error, email oliver@htmlstudio.co.uk with the page address and what's wrong. We aim to reply within five working days. Material corrections are noted at the foot of the affected page with the date.
