Who we are

The data controller is HTML Studio, Leicestershire, UK. Contact: oliver@htmlstudio.co.uk. It is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZB870566.

Using the calculators

The calculators run in your browser. The figures you type are not sent to us or stored.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and roughly where they are in the world. This helps us see which calculators and comparisons are useful and what to improve.

Google Analytics sets cookies and uses an identifier for your browser so it can count returning visits. It doesn't tell us who you are. Google provides the service and processes this data for us; Google's own privacy policy explains how it handles data, which may be processed outside the UK.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The calculators work the same either way.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply. We keep the correspondence for up to 12 months, then delete it.

Hosting

Our web host keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to identify you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing oliver@htmlstudio.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. See our cookie notice for details.
